Moon External — Help

Moon External runs beside Roblox on Windows. This page covers installation, requirements, troubleshooting, errors, and feature tips for Moon External.exe.

🔧 Installation & Setup

First time setup

  • Extract the files to a folder (e.g. C:\Moon\).
  • Run as Administrator — Right-click Moon External.exe → Run as administrator.
  • Enter your license key when prompted.
  • Launch Roblox and join a game.
  • Wait for the cheat to load — you'll see "Game loaded!" when ready.
  • Press INSERT to open the menu.

Requirements

  • Windows 10/11 (64-bit)
  • Administrator privileges
  • Roblox installed and updated
  • Valid license key
  • Antivirus disabled or exception added

⚠️ Common Issues

Issue: "Roblox isn't connected" or stuck at "Waiting for Roblox..."

Solutions:

  • Make sure Roblox is running and you're in a game (not just the launcher).
  • Run as Administrator — this is required!
  • Disable antivirus — add Moon External to your antivirus exceptions.
  • Close and restart Roblox completely.
  • Wait 30 seconds after joining a game before running the cheat.

Still not working?

  • Try a different game.
  • Restart your PC.
  • Reinstall Roblox.

Issue: Stuck at "Waiting for game to load..."

This means:

  • You're not fully loaded into a game yet.
  • Roblox is still loading assets.
  • You might be in a lobby/menu.

Solutions:

  • Join a game completely — wait until you can move your character.
  • Wait longer — some games take time to load.
  • Try a different game — some games load faster.
  • Restart Roblox if stuck for more than 2 minutes.

Issue: "Offset Validation" shows failed offsets ([FAIL] lines)

Example:

[FAIL] VisualEngine::Pointer
[FAIL] Player::LocalPlayer
24/27 offsets valid

What this means

  • Some offsets are outdated for your Roblox version.
  • The cheat will still work. Most features don't need all offsets.

What works with failed offsets

  • ✅ Aimbot
  • ✅ Silent Aim
  • ✅ Movement (Speed, Fly, Jump)
  • ✅ Rage features
  • ❌ ESP/Visuals (may not work if VisualEngine fails)

Solution:

  • Wait for an update from the developer.
  • Most features will still function normally.

Issue: Cheat crashes or closes immediately

  • Disable antivirus — it's blocking the cheat.
  • Run as Administrator.
  • Add exception to Windows Defender: Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Manage settings → Add exclusion → Folder → select your Moon folder.
  • Reinstall — extract fresh files.
  • Update Windows — make sure you're on the latest version.

Issue: "License validation failed" or "Invalid key"

  • Check your key — copy it carefully (no extra spaces).
  • Check expiration — your license may have expired.
  • Reset HWID — contact support if you changed hardware.
  • Contact support — provide your license key.

Issue: Features not working (Aimbot, ESP, etc.)

Aimbot not working

  • Set a keybind — Aimbot tab → set keybind.
  • Enable it — check the "Enabled" box.
  • Adjust FOV — increase if targets aren't detected.
  • Check activation mode — try Hold instead of Toggle.
  • Disable team check in FFA games.

ESP not working

  • Enable enemies — "Enable Enemies" in Visuals tab.
  • Enable features — Box, Name, etc.
  • Check if VisualEngine offset failed — ESP needs this offset.

Movement not working

  • Set keybinds — Speed/Fly/Jump in Misc tab.
  • Hold the key — verify activation mode.
  • Try different modes — some games block certain methods.

🚨 Error Messages

"Cannot attach to Roblox!"

Cause: Antivirus blocking or insufficient permissions.

Fix:

  • Run as Administrator.
  • Disable antivirus.
  • Close Roblox and restart it.
  • Try running the cheat before Roblox.

"Cannot find Roblox module!"

Cause: Roblox hasn't fully loaded yet.

Fix:

  • Wait for Roblox to fully load.
  • Join a game first.
  • Restart Roblox if it has been stuck for a while.

"Update required - Version X.X.X available"

Cause: Your cheat version is outdated.

Fix:

  • Download the latest version from Discord.
  • Extract and replace old files.
  • Run the new version.

"Connecting to KeyAuth..." (stuck)

Cause: Internet connection or KeyAuth server issue.

Fix:

  • Check your internet connection.
  • Disable VPN if using one.
  • Wait a few minutes and try again.
  • Check Discord for server status.

🎯 Feature Issues

Aimbot Issues

Not locking onto targets

  • Increase FOV (try 200+).
  • Disable "Use FOV" to remove FOV limit.
  • Enable "Draw FOV" to see your aimbot range.
  • Disable team check in FFA.
  • Try different target parts (Head, Torso, HumanoidRootPart).

Aimbot too fast/snappy

  • Enable smoothing.
  • Increase smoothing values (try 15–20).
  • Try different smoothing styles.

Aimbot too slow

  • Decrease smoothing values.
  • Disable smoothing.
  • Try Camera mode instead of Mouse mode.

Silent Aim Issues

Not hitting targets

  • Increase FOV.
  • Disable "Use FOV".
  • Enable "Spoof Mouse".
  • Disable gun check if it's blocking.
  • Try different target parts.

Getting kicked/detected

  • Lower hitchance (try 85–95%).
  • Enable prediction.
  • Use smaller FOV.
  • Don't use with triggerbot.

Movement Issues

Speed hack not working

  • Set a keybind in Misc tab.
  • Try different modes (Mode 0 or Mode 1).
  • Adjust speed value (try 50–100).
  • Some games have anti-cheat that blocks this.

Fly hack not working

  • Set a keybind.
  • Try different modes.
  • Adjust speed.
  • Make sure you're holding the keybind.

ESP Issues

Not seeing ESP

  • Enable "Enable Enemies" in Visuals tab.
  • Turn on Box, Name, etc.
  • Check if VisualEngine offset failed.
  • Try different games.

ESP lagging

  • Enable "Performance Mode" in Menu tab.
  • Disable Chams.
  • Reduce fade speeds.

❓ FAQ

Q: Is this safe to use?

A: No cheat is 100% safe. Use at your own risk. We recommend using an alt account, not being obvious, and avoiding popular games with strong anti-cheat.

Q: Will I get banned?

A: Possibly. Roblox can detect any cheat. Use responsibly and on alt accounts.

Q: Does this work on all games?

A: Most games work, but some have additional anti-cheat. Examples often played: Da Hood, Rivals, Hood Modded, most shooters, and many more.

Q: Can I use this with other cheats?

A: Not recommended. Multiple cheats can cause crashes or conflicts.

Q: How do I update?

A: Download the latest version from Discord and replace your old files. Your license will still work.

Q: My license expired, what do I do?

A: Purchase a new license or renew your existing one.

Q: Can I use this on mobile/Mac?

A: No, this is Windows only.

Q: The menu won't open (INSERT key not working)

  • Make sure the Roblox window is focused.
  • Try changing the keybind in the config.
  • Check if another program is using the INSERT key.

Q: How do I save my settings?

  • Open menu (INSERT).
  • Go to Config tab.
  • Enter a name.
  • Click "Save Config".
